So, the end of this school year is upon us. The last day of class is just 12 days away, and I'm officially done with this whole RA business on the 24th. It is so WEIRD! I can't believe how fast this year has flown. I can't even begin to describe the year's experiences, so this will suffice: I have learned SO much about so many things, but most of all, how God can (and does) increase our capacity to love any and all people you interact with, if you are willing to let your heart stretch. I have had some incredible insights, experiences, and moments with and just watching my girls grow and develop. I will never, NEVER regret the day I decided to become an RA. I love my girls and will miss them dearly.
But the end of one chapter leads to the beginning of the next! Through a series of unexpected events, I was invited to attend a study abroad to Vancouver, BC for spring term. Except it is actually a giant road trip through Nevada, California, Oregon, Washington, and then coming back through Montana and Wyoming. We're spending our time camping in various places (beaches, the Redwoods, Yellowstone) as well as staying in little hostel-like places and doing the whole 'tour-la-city' thing. The trip is emphasized for studio and photography majors, of which I am neither. But I did end up getting a Canon t1i for a different class and for this trip, and that has turned into a lovely investment. I don't know anything that I'm doing, but ... that is what college is for, right? :)
